Diagnostic Ultrasound
Imaging study utilized in the office to diagnose soft tissue Foot and Ankle pathology involving the tendons, ligaments, muscles, nerves and foreign body.
All the anatomic structures including the joints can be evaluated while in motion using ultrasound imaging. In addition, injections can be performed more accurately by having the ability to view specific areas of pathology.
Vascular Circulation Testing
In office test performed to evaluate the function of blood flow to the Foot and Ankle to prevent amputations for diabetics and patients with cardiovascular risk factors such as PAD (Peripheral Artery Disease) or clogged arteries.
Nerve Conduction and Electromyelogram Testing
A test commonly used to evaluate the function, especially the ability of electrical conduction, of the motor and sensory nerves of the human body.
Nerve Conduction Studies evaluate the functions of the nerves for evaluation of paresthesias (numbness, tingling, burning) and/or weakness of the legs.
